HyperFinish - Revolutionizing the superfinishing process



What is HyperFinish?

HyperFinish is a technological advancement of the microfinish/superfinish process where the conventional tool oscillation is superimposed by a second, high-frequency oscillation which can exceed 3600 double-strokes per minute (60 Hz)

HyperFinish Advantages

  • Up to 35% (on average 20%) shorter machining times due to increased stock removal per time unit
  • Better results regarding roundness and waviness, depending on workpiece and task
  • Up to 30% reduced investment by elimination of additional machines / machining stations (reduced operating costs)

HyperFinish Applications

Superfinish of Bearing Races: up to 35% reduction in machining time plus improved geometry of race profiles, improvement for both ball bearing and roller bearing races, even greater improvement for four point contact bearings.

Brush Deburring of Bores: shorter machining time, more even edge round off, may even eliminate the need for high-pressure deflashing with water.
